AKEBULAN CHILDCARE AND DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION
WHO WE ARE

Our History

Akebulan Childcare and Development Foundation (ACDF) is a Non-government and Charitable organisation based in Uganda. It was founded in the year 2007 by Roman Mugalya Mutono who was moved by compassion to support and care for vulnerable children. His work started when he adopted 10 disadvantaged children into his care. He took the initiative of providing for their basic necessities which included but not limited to feeding, shelter, clothing, beddings, education and healthcare. Recently Akebulan grew into a registered Non-government organisation (NGO), and since then the organization has been expanding continuously in providing social and economic development services, spiritual growth and protection. Akebulan is now providing the above support to twenty (20) disadvantaged children and other less privileged persons from discrimination of any form. We effectively respond to challenges of socioeconomic nature affecting vulnerable people by promoting sustainable, equitable and participatory development, social welfare and social justice through building self-sustaining programs that enhance well-being of disadvantaged communities and accelerate their transition to sustainable development.
